After four sporty years, it's that time again…the 2009-2010 Olympic skating season has started! It began in October with the Dutch Distance Championship and will continue via the Winter Games to the concluding World Championship allround event in March. Falcon is already on the ice with the TVM skating team.

Yes, it's sure to be an exciting few months! Once more there are times to improve upon and quite a few European and World titles to defend. But the event that most people will be focusing on is of course the Olympic Games in Vancouver. With six categories for both the men and the women, and with no shortage of likely winners, this is truly the stage upon which every skater can shine. So who's got 'the legs' for it? Who will reach their peak at the right moment? From 12 till 28 February 2010, we will all again experience the excitement of the surprises and the record-breaking times that these top athletes will generate.

Before we get there though, the whole team will already have come a long way. And of course, even in the months that the spotlights aren't fixed on our skaters, we're still working with them. This is the period in which sheer hard work lays the basis for the successes to come. We've helped out over the last few months by equipping the TVM skating team with useful kit including highly functional jackets and trousers from Falcon that will keep them at the right temperature between competitions. Our ambitious team is pretty pleased with them! As their coach Gerard Kemkers puts it, 'when it comes to trying to achieve a top performance and always striving for perfection, I think Falcon is an ideal partner for us. After all, the quality and material of the jackets and other items do really have to be perfect.' The enthousiastic reactions to its leisurewear show that the Falcon Casual line is also a firm favourite with the TVM sportsmen and women.

Last year you couldn't miss the 'green brigade', but now the entire skating world needs to watch out for more colours. The falcon is now to be seen on the new white jackets and black training outfits as well as on its familiar green territory. Three cool colours with striking accents. By using the best materials and designs, we are able to contribute to the further development of the entire TVM skating team.
